As much as I hate to say it, a strike will never work. It goes to the root of the problem, as long as there are junk contract companies willing to sign crappy contracts, wages will stay low. It forces the guys that actually want to see their techs make money take what they can get or go out of business and be replaced. We complain about it, but the reality is contract companies did it to themselves, under bidding in order to get established in new markets. Go ahead and organize a strike and see what comes of it. It will cause the company to loose their contract and the vendor will have scabs from out of town running your routes within a few days. It is what it is, sorry.
