The quality of the contract worker is comparable to the pay. As the pay has gone down so has the quality of the worker. Look at the quality of old prime star installs in comparison to a new DTV install. A primestar pole mount will have 200lb of concrete and pvc up to the house for the coax. A DTV contract pole mount will be lucky to have a third a bag of concrete and no underground splices.
