Its like any other new business. When you first open up everyone comes in to check you out essentially making you the flavor of the month. Its different to get your tv thru the phone lines. But after its all said and done they will eventually burn out the novelty and people will switch back .All ive heard about unverse and this prism is it locks up alot and you are constantly rebooting the boxes to get it to work. The sound quality on on cable phones is better than you get with the old landlines and the prices for unlimited long distance are cheaper. Im sure they will put a dent in the subscriber base on cable companies bu i think in the long run it will settle out and cable wont fade away. I would be more concerned with wireless hurting or making cable obsolete
