Re: What does corp to corp mean?

1099 is not a type of company. 1099 is a form from the IRS. An Independent Contractor is typically one person doing work "independently" for a prime. He/She receives a 1099 for income he/she has earned. S-Corp, C-Corp, LLC, Partnerships ... etc ... are companies or partners, either Contracting Directly with an MSO or contracting with another company. Most states DO NOT require a LICENSE to be a contractor. And being Incorporated or being an LLC or Partners or having a DBA does not mean you have a LICENSE. And at the end of the year ... your company  "should" receive a 1099 for tax purposes.
