Fair response Salesdawg.Yeah, not sure what methods you're referring to Transferencefun, do you mean:A) What illegal scams are there where we can possible manipulate SS#'s, steal from cable operators and contractors, and generally shit on this industry.... there are probably infinite creative methods to perform these sort of things.B) What are within the legal boundaries of your contract with your employer and his contract with the client, in regards to advertising your services on the internet, printing business cards, hanging flyers, advertising,etc... than that is a good question and deserves some attention. There are many ways as well to increase referral business, but Salesdawg is right, you can't skip over the knocking doors part. Contributing to door-to-door's success in the alternate sales channel is the fact that it's harder to slam a door on a face as opposed to slam a phone on a voice. Those extra 15 seconds that you get with a customer is the key to such a high closing ratio compared to direct mail or outbound telesales. But hey, nothing is better than having your phone ring off the hook with customers, while you're answering it from the couch in your robe watching Oprah :)-Alex
