I see it both ways, the problem is the crooks, but they are on both sides the prime, sub, emplyee what ever. It's not the good old days were it was straight cable unless they needed a “pay per view box”. The new equipment cost a whole lot more. They charge us back for everything now.
Lets say I'm a prime and it's your first day. I give you a $2,500 dollar meter for home certs. Load you up with 10 dvr's a few hd's a couple of digs and emta's. Lock-box keys etc.............your walking out with over $13,000 of stuff, and this is per tech. You don't even have invoicing on the books yet. You decide to skip town and I never see you again.......you want me to be stuck holding the bag? This is why they are starting to hold 2 weeks pay, up to 30 days of pay.
