When did Frontier sell out to Lumos?... Their still competing companies.
My undestanding was that Ntelos sold out to Lumos shortly after Ntelos bought out FiberNet. - Ntelos kept the wireless holding & Lumos took over the Fiber network
Verizon funded like 85% of the cash to Citizens Communications a.k.a Frontier to make the purchase before Windsteam could gobble them up.
