North of Atlanta 10 years ago someone sued ATT demanding they remove their power cord off his sub pole and won. So I was given the order to remove. So ATT decides to redesign the run and come from a different direction meaning I had to place a 1'' power cord just over 3/4 mile. all street side the problem every span was a 45 across the street, all poles sat off street 10' some were even on little hills.
We were able to use a couple of horse from one of the farmers to jig out the line on some of hills half way though the run. We made it, so we thought to the end all jigged out. all that was let was to lash it up after a day and a half of BS. No sooner did I think this did we hear sqeaching brakes we look back and here comes this over size In height truck that made his turn to sharp and snag our line 8-9 spans back and ripped our line all the way back from span one. trucker got out said how sorry he was and he thought that his over sized load was gonna make it. Needless to say we had to start from scratch AGAIN
Anyways that was one out of many
