It will tell you the modem up and down specs not Packet Loss.. Which is one thing this meter missed out on. When it came to the Prime I worked for I trained the service techs and compared to the Dsam's the MSO were using in a few meetings when Service work came out we all had to buy one. Its good for Post/Pre errors, Modem issues with SNR upstream, ingress testing on drops and cable lines for issues etc. I know the meter inside and out. You need to load the Mso's channel plan or it will give you some weird levels etc... Battery life is one year at max if you use it everyday.
