I knew a guy that owns a shop in Homestead, he would have us do the work and would not finish the job 100% until the work was paid. he would always leave a cable hanging or disconnected to assure payment, like holding it ransom. It worked wonders for him. I do not know if that helps us. My wife managed a telecom company in Miami and she would not put a tech in a truck until the customer had given a 50% deposit or had a credit card on file to guarantee payment. She told me that it was company standards to do this, you just cannot do work without having some form of payment guaranteed. Otherwise, how many techs would be left in the wind?
