First drop in Austin was done with a pressure tap, snubber grips, no grounding and rg 59 cable.It was done off 408 strip braid cable self support.It was the first all transistor cable system.I think we were carrying 8 channels,$4.95 cents per month with no install charge.This was 1963 and I made about $1.50 per hour.Yea they were the good ol days.  I was 20 years old and in great shape.
