I lived near Jerry Wise in Seabrook, Texas. Never worked for the man...I am construction and stayed there. The man did not come off as a crookster or money grubber to me in any way at all. My son was in Boy Scouts with his son, and Jerry was always involved. When I had my chest cracked open in '04, he came by my house to see how we (my family and myself) were doing. I told him then I had to leave the business, and asked him if he needed a Sadelco. He said not really, but what did I want for it. He bought it and fed my family and paid my bills that month. Far as I am concerned, the man is OK in my book.
