I have to admit that I expected a totally ridiculous remark.
I am glad that I was wrong.
I live just outside of Detroit and these kids in my neighborhood could very well be hanging out causing trouble, but would rather spend their time in church.
They do attend just about EVERY function that goes on at the church unless they have family matters to attend to.
