  i have been in the industry for 13 years and yes it has gone to crap . all the hsps making money on techs and approved parts bs because it gives the customer a better experiance. intstead of paying for good techs they pay for what they get . they take the rest to hire people that cant install to qc and take the rest of your money. as a hsp owner once told me i have 200 techs and if i can back charge 100 dollars per tech per week how much do i make. but yall keep complaining and go do it every day. dish still bills the customer every month and the hsp still gets paid. and its the techs that suffer. at least dish still pay more than 50 per install .direct is paying less than that and no way u can make a profit if u was to do it all by code u would b better off giving your boss 20 dollars a week and go fishing.. good luck to all.
