Yes. That is what we called a baker board. It was used by the phone company ( before catv) for the copper splicers to SIT on because they were there for hours on end splicing. The originals were made of wood, had a chain at one end that went around the pole and a pole pike that came out from under the board that stuck into the pole for leveling and support. We would hoist them up with a hand line (While on hooks) set them up, then sit on them to splice.
