to answer your question about the equipment,, he can sell the support equiment,( dish ,lnb's, swithches, etc.) but the receivers will be dead unless it is installed on an approved system. I have a aut. retailer that will by a few hd dishes and lnb's that i take down if i sale them at a near give away price, but can't  do anything with the boxes,, but other advice given is probably best
