Well, typical answer would be " welcome to the business". But best thing I can suggest is shoot for free marketing, craigslist is a good tool, you can post your skills and abilities, or browse through the posts that people are looking for work to be done. Also print up some business cards, drop them off at the local starbucks, small grocery stores, gas stations, community boards. Then go around to any new sub divisions being built or newly built in your area, put your card in atleast 20 peoples hands a day. Get out and be seen, if your not visible, people can't find you!
