Most MSO's are looking 7 years back on felonies, and the only non-negotiable felonies, regardless of how long ago, are violence related, child abuse related, child molestation related... if you are upfront about your situation, you could probably catch a break... don't let your prospective employer find out about it via a background check... your credibility will be shot... no one is perfect, and everyone has made stupid mistakes when they were younger, but were lucky enough not to get caught... if you are close to the 7 year timeline, wait it out and start applying...
