Re: federal law for door to door sales


The federal law is meant as a base guideline. On a federal level it's illegal to grow, possess, sell or otherwise distribute marijuana. The legal way around that is to decriminalize it's use and possession below a certain single amount and make the fine for such reasonable.
13 states have decriminalized it's use and possession under a certain amount if for personal use which will result in confiscation, fines, and in some instances mandatory suspended sentences simply because the entire process from arrest, prosecution, through to incarceration for a joint of weed is not economically viable.

Why is weed illegal ?  Because it competes with quite a few industries (pharmaceutical mainly) and will grow anywhere. Can't have that now could we.
