Re: federal law for door to door sales


Local law supercedes federal law as long as the local law isn't less stringent than it's federal counterpart.

A town could ban all door to door sales completely and federal laws would hold no sway at all.  A good comparison would be laws and regulations pertaining to the concealment of handguns from state to state.
