you really need a kaku 5 nlb and a swm16 switch with 2 8 way swm splitter that way you do not worry about tuners just make sure the receivers are  D12 for standars,R16 for a regular DVR and the rest any HD model from H21 to H25 any more questions just ask I am a Directv Tech for 10 years I know what to do
