Re: $50 charge back for not showing id!
if it is dictated to you at what time u need to be anywhere other that the site of the job being paid for then u are not a true contractor, and company shirts and truck signs must state that u are a contractor not an employee.. if u are covered under isurance of company u are doing work for u are not a contractor.there is many things that make u an employee. what pretains directly to the job u excepted is the only thing that can be dictated. but on the same note u got to bend over and take it or not work. so yea they do what they want and charge back what they want and they get away with it everyday. ive been so called contract since early 90. but im told what to do for the past ten years cause this bussiness has went down. cause there is to many willing to do it for peanuts and dont care that they are ran as an employee but called a contractor( and these techs are the ones to do the crappy jobs which cause the charge back rules. back when it was guys who cared about thier work and took pride there were no charge backs because the work was done rite the 1st time and yes for the newer guys to the field there was a time of no charge backs). ive only been charged back twice before i got out of the field but now im in the office and although i dont dictate the charge backs im the one holding the ball when it comes to the techs. i dont like being the bad guy. the guy directly above may be taking order just like u are. its the bean counters that never see the field who make nonsence rules. but if u dont do your job correctly then yes u should be charged back. and yes i hear there is bogus charge backs out there but the company we are working for do not do them and gives me a opertunity to dispute all charge backs and they will and do remove them often.
