Re: Pole Climb School

Back in 1983 I took a "Pole Climbing" class taught by Detroit Edison.... There were about 45 people in the class the first day where they showed a movie of linemen getting fried and falling from poles landing on picket fences and such.... Reminded me of the movie "Faces of Death" Well the second day there were about 20 people in the class....Anyway, me and 1 other person got our "certificate of completion" and the other guy quit about a week later.....IF you "Old School" linemen remember how the "Newbie" got treated back in the day you know why he quit.
