They are right, it looks like CPD or the diode effect. I have found that in most cases its caused by a corroded connection. From the looks of it I would look close or at the output of an amp. A bad connection between an amp mod and the housing could also be the culprit. If you have an TDR it can help you pin point it. Hope that helps.
