Federal law states that a 1099 employee can demand a signed contract for any expectations of and encluding pay, performance and any deductions. Good luck trying to get that to fly in the retail world of SAT or CATV. Move on or kiss ass just to get whats owed you. Good techs get a bad rap from the gypsies out there that take the money and run.
