I remember the ONE time that my foreman "got me" when I was a "Newbie". We were pulling strand in the easement, and when we got to the end-of-line, the pole was in the middle of a "Hairy" tree. (So I couldn't see what he was up to) He told me to pull as much slack as I could before he put the chain hoist on it. Well, I pulled with all my might, then he attached the preform. After attaching the preform he yelled, "Come on pull. Is that all you got, you pussy?" When I was sure I was pulling so hard that I was about to tweak the pole...."SNAP" He cut the strand and watched as I went flying on my Butt.
