33' WTF you talking about. What are you 4' tall? Your boss was right, if you don't climb you stand on your top rung or on bell and belt off to the pole. Or start carrying a 32' ladder with you, but if your crying about being told to stand on your top rung I can only imagine how much you'd cry about the weight of it. Whatever happened to getter done???
