The CLI series does NOT run a (docsis) test, but it is still a good meter if you want to chase noise. Jdsu currently makes the DSAM series of meters, althought docsis is only an option, albiet a very common one. These are by far the most popular meters in the industry right now, however there are other good options such as the Trilithic 860i but you may find a cheaper alternative as pretty much every manufacturer offers it now. Checking modem carriers is not the same as reverse sweep, but it is useful to set up reverse. I currently use docsis while doing span replacements to rebalance the actives.
