Read carefully what the terms of service are for the customer you are selling this "deregulated energy" product. Yes the customer will save in the 1st few months, but they have a million and one clauses that enable them to raise prices and if you pay your bill late one day they raise your rates. A dog chews on a pair of shoes in china and they raise your rates. That in turn will see the customer returning to their old service provider within months and you not getting paid.
Something you need always remember about sales, If the product was so great, they wouldn't need people to sell it.
