I find the KJV to be as accurate as a translation from the original Hebrew, Arabic, and Greek, can be. I guess if I had the time, I would learn those languages so as to fully discern the original documents for myself. I do trust that the learned men, 40, who did diligently translate, letter for letter, word for word, the KJV. I have some issues with the NIV, but all in all believe a person can come to know God's Word and His plan of salvation by using it. I have read paraphrases that are useful in helping to understand, in today's terminology, what hard to read script is saying, but it is just a paraphrase and should only be used as a tool for studying the Bible, not as a Bible in itself.
