Had a bad noise issue on node 7 for these last couple of days. Got it down to the leg that the problem is on. I went to the 1st active out of the node on port 5(c-cor). After chasing this issue and thinking I found it. Then BAM!! It came back, I went right back to the node to trouble shoot. A really nice guy walks out of his house and asks me if the internet was ever going to get fixed. I explained to him I am working as fast as I can. It dawned on me. I ask the gentlmen if I could look at his modem stats through his computer. After looking what the modem stats were. I just shook my head in disbelif. Lets see who can figure this one out. Rx 0.5, downstream snr 38db, upstream snr 23, Tx 22.5. After looking at this, I went back out to the node and looked at all the return pads. I wanted to cuss so bad. There was a 1 pad in port 5 and 6 and a 2 pad in port 3. It just amazes me. I will be back tommorrow to replace the proper level pads in the return ports
