I work in a system(s) with 4 upstream carriers....two 3.2's and two 6.4's. We have about 300 nodes and even though the carrier closest to 40 mhz (38 mhz) is in the cleanest part of the noise floor(generally speaking) it always has the lowest cumulative (or average) usnr compared to the other 3 carriers in that node. The difference can be as much as 5-7db. I've swept various runs (to no avail) and everything sweeps fine, so I don't think it has anything to with diplex filters. Seeing that the problem is the same in just about every node, using common sense, I doubt the problem would be optical x-mitters/receivers...mother boards....nodes....or anything obvious. Any thoughts...
low usnr on same upstream carrier
