cabler may have your answer,, not sure of solution,, same thing happened to me,, put 24 boxes in a bar/bowling alley, had trouble only with a few, exchanged the box from one place to the other no problems,, all boxes were mounted high close to the ceiling ( which means close to lights) thats the only thing i could come up with either, never did get a perfect fix,, had to be nearly directly under unit pointing directly at eye ,, the tape on top side of eye blocking interference from light might help............good luck
