IR interference

Installed a bar today, 13 cable boxes. Had to run new outlets and locate the boxes near the tv's since their satellite was modulated over the existing coax. Well, turns out the remotes wont work very well if at all. I'm guessing its interference from the lcd screens, but cant be sure. I've verified that the boxes work fine off site, so its not the eq. Small bar with the sets right on top of each other. Any ideas?
