Good but not too good, ever since the ole lady died April 7th I've been lonely as heck , but at the same time ,not ready for another , its hard too lose your woman and she's your best friend , the cancer just made us closer and made it hurt worse when she passed .I visit my moms ,dads ,sisters and Ricks grave often .At least brother Rick's grave always has beautiful flowers , I'm sure its his sister Cheryl that keeps them up.I always think of how in Cinn. Ohio when we first started cutting ,about every third stick he'd be one ahead of me .I reacall how we use to race up and down the poles to see who was faster off hooks and how if we spotted a squirrel in midspan how we run and race up the sick on both ends and slat the cable to see if we could knock it too the ground . I will never forget the day one raced back toward Rick , jumped over him to a transformer and here came that big blue spark and that God awful sound we never want hear. It fried the litte sucker . I thought surly Rick would have cut out and hit the ground , but he didnt ,he was just laughing ,said GD it fried that little sum bitch. When ASI pulled out of Ohio and went to Texas was to be the last time I would ever see him alive ,I had stayed behind and went to work for Jackon because I had met a woman and was in love . The next time I saw him was at his funeral laying the casket in Morehead after they shipped his body back from Texas. I will always miss him ,he'd of give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He will always be a top hook in my book . I think the last time I spoke to you , I was in Kansas and you were up on the Canadaian border cutting a amp .I will be leaving from here soon just have't decided where yet ,kinda waiting on seeing what hurricane seasons gonna bring . I just don't want to go to a project and want to go to a hurricane to chase the big money .Maybe you can fly into Miami and rent a car and come to Daves resort in Marathon in the keys . Gotta have that Big Party this year , after my ole lady dying the way she did made me realize you never know when its your time . I'll be getting up with ya brother ,ain't so wild any more getting old..........thats life.......Ltr.......Jerry
