Thats correct, it made me a soft hearted person which has caused me to become a full supporter and volunteer for Childrens Hospital, St Jude and a yearly volunteer for the Methodist Childrens Home during Christmas.
I have been known to get emotional when a child is hurting. I cant watch movies or shows that are about a child being hurt or abused.
The best thing I got out of all of this is that it made me 101% patient with my children, I talk to them when they have done something wrong and I counsel them and help them understand things in a brighter and unstanding way. The way i teach and treat my children and made them much better people today and extremely smart. To me this is taught me that spanking is not needed and will never work, spanking only teaches violence. Some of you may disagree about the spanking and I understand because you have different views.
