My grandfather was in PI during the war in the Army, I know from my father that he saw alot of shit but I was 5 at the time and he was pushing 70, he would never have burdened me with those stories. After I got out of bootcamp I asked my dad where grandpa's ribbons, medals were he told me he threw all that stuff out the day he was discharged, Also was told he was one hell of a hunter but when he came back would never touch a rifle again.
