Re: Hatteras

I have a friend that owns the Sunset Grille, Sunset Watersports and Fishbones on hwy 12, John had his docks and sound side of his restaurant completely removed
he was flying in by chopper on Sunday to inspect his losses, John is a smart business man and is insured out the kazoo well enough that his employees will not loose one red cent from being out of work, he will pay to relocate them to his other restaurants and also help pay the wind/flood deducable of his employees homes that was lost from Irene, last season he had a Lightning strike that shut him down for 3 weeks and he shipped them all down here to the Keys for a 3 week paid vacation

When Irene passed the Florida Keys here in Marathon we had a 5 hour power outage and his Sunset grille here on Knight's Key across the road from me kept on kicking, he fired up the charcoal grills, the tiki lanterns, no cash registers working, food & booze was free and music was acoustic, even without power his staff still accepted anybody in the dark that came after the power was off telling everyone to enjoy the free food & drinks (other places locked their doors)

John said I will claim it on my Insurance and write it off on my taxes.
