Need Info on Pensacola/Ft. Walton Beach

I have an offer to work in the Cox sytem in these two towns and need to know any pros or cons there may be. How tech friendly, anything about the system that would give me an indication of whether or not to travel from Atlanta to temporarily work a gig there.  Thanks ya'll.
