As a sub, you have to keep your over head down as much as possible, I would never buy a brand new vehicle to do installs in, it will get tore up, beat up, run down, I have a 01 dodge ram, close to 200k miles on it, best work truck IMO. Oh yea, don't forget to take out the chargebacks from that $1200 a week, gas, insurance, tools, materials. Also consider most all techs live paycheck to paycheck...just my 2 cents worth, feel free to chime in.
