Hey Chuck,
I was also licensed since I was 14 back in 1972. Just got back on after a 28-30 year inactive period. Cable TV was having more impact for a while. Funny thing, was in HAM shacks in Venezuela, Mexico, Singapore, Azore Islands, Panama and Costa Rica when on field engineering missions with the manufacturers. Just happened to mention to the cable operator(s) I was licensed and they were very eager to show me their setups! Are you active? Got a 80-meter full-wave loop at 125' with a Kilowatt in Central Tennessee that works well on 75/40/20. Should try to get something going. Look up info on QRZ.com.
