Qualifications:
I have been in the communication industry for the past 7 years and my work experience includes
installations, MDU construction, co-axial splicing, field engineering and mapping, (which has been
my main occupation). This work has taken me to several states, which include: South Carolina,
Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska and California. I have done underground work as well as
make-ready aerial work. I am currently working in the San Francisco Bay Area fielding utility poles
(make-ready engineering) for the Residential Cable Network.
I am qualified for the following:
§ Map any co-axial CATV system, whether it is in a heavy urban area or a
§ rugged mountain terrain.
§ Profile and engineer utility poles for make-ready and wind-loading purposes.
§ I am familiar with the National Electrical Safety Code and California’s
§ General Order 95.
§ Draft underground routes showing right of ways and stationing.
§ Install a CATV or Satellite systems in residential homes.
§ Splice co-axial cable and equipment.

I currently work in the make-ready department. I field engineer utility poles for
Attachment and wind-loading purposes in San Francisco. This project is for
RCN.
01/2000- International Fibercom
11/2000 A turnkey communication company
Contract asbuilt mapper. Drew maps of existing cable plant in various regions.
I worked in Seaside, Carmel Valley, Pebble Beach and Palo Alto, California.
This project was for AT&T.
01/1998- Design Extenders: A subsidiary of GLA International

Contract asbuilt mapper in Camden,South Carolina,(a Charter Project), also
In Omaha, Nebraska, (a Cox Cable Project).

When NewCom was purchased by McLeod USA, I worked as a contract
engineer fielding and engineering utility poles and engineering for under-
ground routes in Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. This work
also took me to Peoria, Illinois; Waterloo and Des Moines, Iowa.

This was my introduction to the communications industry, I worked as a
residential installer and then later MDU Construction supervisor where I
learned how to splice and dig trenches and delegate assignments. I had
the privilege of working on some very large projects, which included an 8
block apartment complex and a 20 story building in Oakland, California.
