Re: Manta Ray Anchor Set Up

Sweet way to set anchors. But don't be looking for the cable co to be going to em any time soon, if ever. Ain't nothin cheaper than a screw anchor. The manta allows you to sink your anchor as deep as you need to go. The anchor rods come in different lengths and screw together, so that you can keep adding rod to get your depth, for example if you had an anchor in soft soil. I've sunk em as deep as 25', and in hard pan or rocky conditions, just pound away. After you have your depth, you have a attachment that you place over your anchor rod, that pulls up on the rod and sets the head and preloads your anchor to what ever your load rating is. You'll need a lot of anchors to make it pay for it's self. But worth it. Good luck. I hate fucking anchors.
