I have been sub contracting for the past 7 yrs. in the telephone business doing Alltel/Windstream work up in N. GA and the work is becoming off and on now. I have done just about everything there is to do in the OSP ie: Splice copper/fiber, DSLAM turn ups, break downs, cuts, construction, etc. I have been thinking about getting into the cable business and just want to know if I am makng a good choice, timing is right, where to get some training or experience. I have a truck and ladder, bucket truck and pretty much all the tools except a analyzer like a SDA 5000.
