You can cut the Department of energy, they've had 40 years to lower our dependancy on foreign oil and we are more dependant on it today then we were before they were formed? Also, can't cut the debt without lowering spending. I like the 10% "flat" tax idea, get rid of the loopholes that the rich use to pay little or no taxes. More people paying a lower rate will achieve more than "us" paying it all!! Welfare needs overhauled for sure, too many freeloading con artists getting something for nothing, A good start is the mandatory drug testing for welfare recipients. Bring the troops home to man our own borders and stop the illegals from entering and recieving benefits that were formed to help Americans. Common sense issues would do wonders to help us but you can't make a politician think in terms of common sense. They can't even grasp the ideology that you can't continue to spend more than you bring in? Hell, they can't even stay in budget after stealing money out of the SS system! Wal-Mart runs way more efficient than the federal Government, You know why? Because they aren't out there trying to help Sears,kroger, J.C. Penny, or any other competitor, They take care of theirselves first!
