I disagree, a formidable army usually leads to guerilla tactics or terrorism; the definition changes depending on which side you stand. On the larger picture I dont think god in the Judea Christian sense needs an army. I know of lots of movies and TV say that he has one or there is currently a war waging in heaven, or that nephalym (propably spelled that wrong) need to be executed because they are an obaminations.
