Wow! good point man.. I hope ADTMan follows your advice. It's good to go out for a while while gaining back your skill or trying to learn new trick. I'm sure if I am in the place of ADTMan, I will be grateful to you and follow your advice, hehe :) It's good ADTMan to be an employee for a while, because you got to have something to be expected of at the end of the month than nothing and just getting depressed by what the others achieve or know that you still are struggling to learn.

For me ablcanltek, I would prefer to apply in a Directv company. Because as what I have read and observe comparing these satellite services, most clients are still inclined to Directv than its counterpart.
