A linemans prayer for you Wild Bill.
Thank you Lord for letting me go tall,
standing in your hands to keep me from the fall.
Whether flying in a bucket or climbing a pole,
I know that you are with me in the heat and the cold.
Keep me safe in night and day,
from the power of those lines,
and for my brothers to I pray.
I know there is no light as great as you have shown,
but for those in need here on earth I climb into the zone.
So keep me safe in wind and rain
all across the land,
for I am a lineman in your master plan.
A lineman is a special type
who works all through the day and night.
He can pull a line into shape
but he struggles understanding what God has made.
Each lineman fights his manly pride,
but knows there's love deep inside.
A gentle kiss from the wife and kids
and he departs,
keeping God and family inside his heart.
Welcome back brother Wild Bill. You have been given a second chance. Spend your time wisely. Take it easy for the ones that love you, and stand tall bro. Your a lineman forever.
