It was probably taken down not for what you said it but how you said it. There was real obvious strong emotion and strong drink.
Now that you are sober:
That love it or leave it crap really pisses me off. America is one of the few places where people have the RIGHT to petition the government. They petitioned the government to end slavery. They petitioned the government to allow women to vote.
They petitioned the government to end fighting in Viet Nam and would have impeached a president who thought he could do an end run around Constitutional safeguards against him.
Likewise, you are free to mention God in your church and in your writings and posts here. You can complain about not being allowed to mention God at public events. But it is those who profess to speak for God who are truly dangerous. The government is not God! That is why there is no established religion in America. And those who profess to having no position on religion and the existence of any god have the same right to object to this unproven position.
So who leaves first? Who gets to throw them out? What standard do we use? How about the standard that was used to deny enterance to the Jews aboard the St. Louis in about 1940? They were burned up by Hitler by his master race. How about the standard that banned the importation of African slaves in 1800? That worked well.
Finally, how dare you attempt to be a spokesman for fallen soldiers.
