1 Ruler Foot, some places only pay strand or trench footage and pay an extra for aerial storage(snow shoes) so if you can get paid for start and stop footage ticks
you will be ahead of the game, like 1000ft strand fiber with 100ft storage you pulled 1100ft of fiber and are only paid for 1000ft strand and 2 snow shoes
In under ground you are paid for trench footage and maybe a vault price.
so you need to pay attention to all of the footage ticks on under ground for the 10ft & 15ft offsets from the main trench to the peds x2
I have seen contractors loose 2000ft on a 10,000ft pull because they missed the offsets
Primes will try to screw you out of any footage they can, I have worked with a few that will re adjust your dailys if you miss any footage
and I have worked for many that will not say a word to you if you missed 1000ft (profit in their pocket) because if some girl making $8.00 an hour in the office misses a 15ft x 2 offset in underground and the prime can't bill it, she ie gone.
